My name is Kera Lovell and I am a Lecturer in American Studies at the University of Hawai’i’s Honolulu Community College campus.  I earned my PhD in American Studies from Purdue University in 2017.

In 2015 I received the Global Synergy Grant from Purdue’s College of Liberal Arts to conduct an independent exploratory research trip in Milan, Italy for the 2015 World Expo.  Since then I’ve been keeping an online diary of my food adventures.
